Delete your account
Two ways to do it, and a plain list of what goes and what stays. Nothing here needs you to speak to anybody first.
Last updated 7 September 2026.
In the app: Profile → Account → Delete My Account. It asks for a code sent to your email, then deletes everything below immediately.
If you cannot open the app
Write to ask@efiko.me from the email address you signed up with, and say you want your account deleted. Sending from that address is how we know it is you, so a request from a different address will get a reply asking you to send it again from the right one.
Deletion is done within 30 days, and usually the same week. You get an email confirming it.
What is deleted
- Your email address and your account.
- Every answer you have given, and the practice history built from it.
- Your nickname, your avatar and your phone number if you entered one.
- Your streak, your XP, your gems and your badges.
- Your target score, your exam date and your subject choices.
- Every signed-in session, on every device.
What is not deleted, and why
Two things outlive the account, and it is better to say so here than to let you find out later.
- The sign-in log. A record that a code was requested for your address is kept for up to 90 days and then erased on its own schedule. It exists so that somebody trying to break into accounts can be spotted, which is a protection for everybody's account including yours.
- Work you sent to a teacher. If you submitted an assignment to a teacher's register, the name you gave and your answers sit in that teacher's results, which belong to their assignment rather than to your account. Ask the teacher to remove it, or write to ask@efiko.me naming the assignment and we will remove it for you.
If you stop using Efiko
You do not have to do anything. An account with no activity for 18 months is deleted automatically, and we email you a week before it happens so you can keep it if you want to.
Deleting the app is not deleting the account
Uninstalling Efiko clears it off that phone, and your practice stays on the server so it comes back if you sign in again later. If what you want is for it to be gone, use one of the two routes above.
